The QSC SC-443C 3-Way Screen Channel Loudspeaker System was developed for the demanding requirements of professional cinema playback. Part of QSC's DCS Digital Cinema Speaker Series, it supports selectable bi-amp or tri-amp operation and comprises the MH-1075C mid-high-frequency assembly and two LF-4215 low-frequency enclosures.
The MH-1075C features a horn-loaded 10-inch midrange driver and a compression driver with a 3-inch titanium diaphragm, mounted on an adjustable pan-and-tilt bracket. It incorporates driver protection and a passive crossover for bi-amp operation, along with limiter circuitry to help protect the high-frequency driver from excessive input power.
The 10-inch midrange driver is designed to operate as low as 250 Hz, while its phase-plug design supports crossover to the high-frequency horn at up to 1,800 Hz. This arrangement helps reproduce the dialogue range clearly and consistently in cinema environments.
