The QSC SC-414 4-Way Screen Channel Loudspeaker System was designed for high-performance cinema applications. The system combines the LF-4115 low-frequency enclosure with the MHV-1090 mid-, high-, and very-high-frequency assembly.
The high-frequency horn uses a low-distortion waveguide designed to deliver articulate dialogue while minimizing coloration. Broad horizontal and vertical coverage help provide consistent sound throughout the auditorium. The driver assembly mounts on an adjustable pan-and-tilt bracket with an integral aiming sight to simplify installation.
The MHV-1090 incorporates driver protection and a high-/very-high-frequency crossover network. DC-blocking capacitors help protect the drivers from potentially damaging DC or low-frequency signals. In tri-amp mode, a 12 dB-per-octave crossover blends the high- and very-high-frequency elements. External processing is required for the crossover between the low-, mid-, and high-/very-high-frequency sections.
