The QSC SC-423C-F Flyable 3-Way Screen Channel Loudspeaker was developed for the demanding requirements of large-format motion picture playback. As part of the QSC DCS Digital Cinema Speaker Series, this bi- or tri-amplified system combines two main components: the MH-1075C-F mid/high-frequency system and the LF-4215-F low-frequency system. The enclosures can be joined to form a single flyable unit.
The MH-1075C-F features a horn-loaded 10-inch midrange driver and a 3-inch titanium-diaphragm compression driver. It includes a driver protection network, a passive crossover for bi-amplified operation, and power-limiter circuitry to help protect the high-frequency driver.
The 10-inch midrange driver supports operation down to 250 Hz, while the phase-plug design supports crossover frequencies up to 1,700 Hz to the high-frequency horn. This design helps reproduce critical dialogue frequencies with clarity and intelligibility.
