The Marshall VSC-100 brings HDMI video and external analog audio into a USB computer workflow. Two selectable HDMI inputs and active loop connections support a room with more than one source. Independent audio gain and monitoring controls help integrate professional equipment with conferencing, recording or streaming software.
Marshall VSC-100 Features
- Two selectable HDMI sources. Two HDMI 2.0 inputs provide A/B source selection. A room can connect two video sources and choose which one reaches the computer without moving the input cable between devices.
- Active video loop connections. HDMI loop-through outputs keep the incoming video available beyond the USB capture path. This is useful when a local display needs the source while the computer receives the captured feed.
- USB 3.0 computer bridge. The USB interface supports UVC operation and scaling. It provides a camera-style video connection to compatible computer applications while adapting supported incoming video for the USB workflow.
- Independent analog audio gains. Two analog mic/line inputs have separate gain controls. This permits adjustment of the connected sound sources at the bridge rather than relying on one shared input level.
- Audio source and monitoring selection. HDMI audio or external analog audio can be selected, with independent analog monitoring-source selection. The operator can configure the captured sound and the monitoring feed for the room's audio arrangement.
- Installation and audio-track limits. Under-table mounting hardware is supplied. Analog audio replaces an existing HDMI audio track and cannot create one in an audio-free DVI-derived signal; USB audio uses 44.1 kHz without sample-rate conversion.
