The microphone can be positioned on conference tables, desks, stage floors, or lecterns and controlled by the user via the soft-touch programmable membrane switch, giving you push-to-talk and muting functions.

Alternately, the mic can also be controlled remotely via a built-in Logic interface.

When mounted on a flat surface, the 930VPL takes advantage of the boundary effect to capture clearer speech with reduced room ambience to bolster intelligibility.

The mic is resistant to interference from cell phones, two-way communication devices, and similar units.

It comes with a 30' detachable microphone cable that is terminated with a TA4F connector at one end and a 3-pin male XLR connector at the other.

The 930VPL requires 12, 24, or 48V phantom power to operate.
