Marshall CV380-CS Compact 4K30 6G-SDI and HDMI Camera

The Marshall CV380-CS brings 4K capture to compact camera positions in studios, worship venues and live productions. Its interchangeable lens mount lets you choose the framing for the installation, while simultaneous SDI and HDMI outputs feed production and monitoring equipment. The camera supports remote picture adjustment for positions that are difficult to reach.

• 4K detail with an HD workflow option. Capture 4096 × 2160 or 3840 × 2160 at up to 30 fps, or select 1080p at up to 60 fps. The 8.5-megapixel sensor supports wide 4K shots that can be reframed into HD during post-production.
• Simultaneous SDI and HDMI connections. A single BNC carries 6G/3G/HD-SDI alongside an HDMI 1.4 output. This allows a production feed and a local monitoring connection from the same camera, using equipment compatible with the selected video format.
• Lens choice matched to the shot. The CS/C mount accepts compatible fixed or varifocal lenses, with a connection for DC auto-iris lenses. Select optics for the required framing and working distance. The lens is sold separately, so it needs to be included in your installation plan.
• Remote access to picture settings. RS-485 VISCA control allows camera adjustments from a compatible controller; the breakout-cable joystick provides local menu access. Once the camera is installed, remote adjustment can reduce the need to reach the camera body for picture changes.
• Color controls for camera matching. Adjust color-matrix level and phase, white balance, gamma and detail to tune the image. These controls help an operator bring the camera’s appearance closer to other shots in a production instead of relying only on its default picture settings.
• Exposure settings for changing conditions. Choose automatic, shutter-fixed, gain-fixed or manual exposure modes. Maximum-gain and flicker controls provide additional adjustment when setting up a scene, allowing the operator to balance exposure behavior with noise and lighting-related flicker.
• Selectable microphone or line-level audio. The I/O cable provides a 3.5 mm TRS stereo input, with menu controls for input mode, audio level and microphone attenuation. Line mode supplies no device power; mic bias is limited to 1.7 V and 3 mA, so check the source’s requirements.
• Image adjustments for the installed view. Mirror/flip, privacy masking and digital noise reduction let you adapt the image to the camera position and scene. Configure these functions during setup to orient the view, hide selected image areas, or address visible noise under low ambient light.
