The Marshall CV348 is a compact Full HD SDI camera with an interchangeable lens mount. Select the lens for the installation, then adjust the image remotely when the camera is difficult to reach. It provides a straightforward SDI source for fixed camera positions in production and installed video systems.
Marshall CV348 Features
- Choose optics for the installation. The CS/C lens mount accepts compatible separately sold lenses. This lets a system designer select framing for a nearby demonstration or a more distant subject instead of being limited to one included focal length.
- Full HD sensor and formats. The 2.2 MP, 1/2.8-inch sensor supports 1080p, 1080i and 720p formats. Progressive modes include rates up to 60 fps, giving an HD production system several timing options.
- SDI with defined color sampling. The 3G-SDI output uses 10-bit 4:2:2 BT.709 video. This provides a specified HD color and signal path for compatible switchers, recorders and other SDI receiving equipment.
- Remote picture adjustment. Marshall camera-control software and compatible controllers provide access to camera settings. An operator can tune an installed camera without reaching the body each time lighting or picture requirements change.
- Dedicated firmware service port. Micro-USB is provided for firmware updates. It gives service access at the camera but does not function as a USB webcam output; live video is delivered over SDI.
- DC power for fixed rigs. The camera uses nominal 12 V power, with a listed 7–15 V operating range. This supports planning a DC-powered camera rig while retaining the camera's stated input limits.
