Marshall AR-DM51-B 1RU Digital Audio Monitor with Video Preview

The Marshall AR-DM51-B brings audio monitoring and a live video confidence view into a 1RU chassis. It accepts embedded audio from SDI or HDMI as well as analog sources. Built-in speakers, stereo mix-down and remote control suit equipment racks where an operator needs to confirm both picture and sound.

• Embedded and analog source access. SDI, HDMI, balanced XLR and RCA inputs accommodate several kinds of audio source. This allows a monitoring rack to check embedded program audio as well as separate analog feeds.
• Video confidence alongside audio. The built-in display previews HDMI or SDI video. An operator can identify the picture associated with the audio being checked without allocating another full monitor position solely for source confidence.
• Surround-to-stereo mix-down. One-button 5.1 and 7.1 mix-down provides a stereo listening option. It gives the operator a practical way to assess multichannel material through the unit's stereo monitoring arrangement.
• Built-in speaker monitoring. Two speakers provide local audio listening within the 1RU assembly. This places confidence monitoring directly in the rack, with an 85 dB signal-to-noise ratio specified for the unit.
• Audio conversion and output. The unit provides AES output from analog input and analog RCA output from the selected input. These paths support audio access beyond the internal speakers when the monitoring installation requires it.
• Remote control in a compact rack space. Ethernet or RS-232 control through the manufacturer's application allows adjustment from a separate position. The 1RU chassis combines these controls with audio and video confidence monitoring in a single rack component.
