Marshall AR-AM4-BG-2 4-Input Stereo Analog Audio Monitor

The Marshall AR-AM4-BG-2 provides selection and monitoring of four balanced stereo analog sources in a 1RU chassis. Speakers, a headphone connection and LED metering put listening and signal activity at the rack. RS-232 control supports installations operated from a separate control position.

• Four stereo source inputs. Four balanced XLR stereo input pairs provide access to several analog feeds. An operator can use one monitoring unit for sources such as mixer outputs and other line-level production paths.
• Balanced output connections. Two balanced XLR outputs provide an onward audio connection. This supports integration into an analog monitoring arrangement where the selected signal also needs to reach other equipment.
• Speakers within the rack. Two built-in speakers allow immediate listening at the unit. This provides a local confidence check without installing a separate pair of speakers for basic rack-side monitoring.
• Headphone listening option. The headphone connection permits closer listening when the control area is noisy or speaker use is inappropriate. It complements the built-in speakers for different operating conditions.
• Metering and quick mute. LED VU indicators show input activity, while pushing the volume control provides immediate mute. The operator can check signal presence visually and silence local listening quickly when required.
• Remote control and supplied power. RS-232 supports control from another location, and the included 12 V DC supply powers the 1RU unit. This suits a fixed rack whose monitoring controls are integrated with the wider AV system.
