This QSC Q-SYS NV-21-HU 4K60 4:4:4 Network Video Endpoint is a software-configurable network video endpoint designed to operate as either an encoder or decoder within Q-SYS systems. It provides HDMI and USB-C connectivity for video distribution, AV Bridging, audio routing, and control applications.
The NV-21-HU supports video formats up to 4K60 4:4:4 through Q-SYS Shift adaptive video compression. Its single USB-C connection can provide video distribution, AV Bridging, and device charging, making it suitable for meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, lecture halls, and other professional AV installations.
The endpoint includes one HDMI 2.0 input, one HDMI 2.0 output with a 4K60 4:4:4 scaler, and one USB-C device port supporting DisplayPort Alt-Mode. The USB-C connection can also route Q-SYS camera and audio feeds to a supported host application through Q-SYS AV Bridging.
The NV-21-HU supports USB HID routing and configurable RS-232 control for connected third-party devices. Q-SYS Shift supports multicast and unicast streaming with configurable network bitrates from 10 Mbps to 800 Mbps.
The NV-21-HU connects to the Q-SYS network through 1000BASE-T and is 2.5GBASE-T compliant. It supports IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 Class 5 PoE. USB-C device charging up to 65 W requires an external power supply.
