• Carry HDMI over a 20m installed run. The active optical hybrid design provides a 66-foot connection between an HDMI source and display. It suits routes where a long conventional copper lead would be cumbersome.
• Support the specified 4K formats. This version supports 4K60 at 4:2:0 or 4K30 at 4:4:4, with bandwidth up to 10.2Gbps. Select the source output format to stay within those limits.
• Route a smaller connector through conduit. Detachable HDMI ends expose smaller micro-HDMI connectors for installation. Reattach the full-size ends after routing, using the manufacturer's pulling method to protect the cable.
• Use a thin, flexible cable path. The cable is 3.4mm in diameter with a specified 6mm minimum bend radius. Its small cross-section helps with tight installation spaces while still requiring careful handling.
• Power the active circuitry from HDMI. No separate external supply is required for the cable's active electronics. Published consumption is 0.25W through the HDMI connection.
