This Inday TLDA-1 4-Output TOSLINK Distribution Amp/Splitter is a fully active device. What this means is the Input is converted from optical back into electrical and then sent to 4 independant Toslink Transmitters. This ensures that ONE bad fiber cable will not destroy your signal.
