Glyph Drive Buying Guide and FAQs
How to choose a Glyph drive
- Desktop storage: Blackbox PRO RAID holds two enterprise-class drives in hardware RAID (RAID 0, 1, JBOD or SPAN) for editing and studio work. Blackbox PRO is a single-drive desktop drive for backup and everyday storage.
- Portable and camera media: Atom, Blackbox Plus and SecureDrive+ portable SSDs are built for work on location; SecureDrive+ adds encryption with a keypad or Bluetooth. Capture+ CFexpress Type B cards record in camera.
- Capacity: RAID 0 gives you the full listed capacity and the most speed. RAID 1 mirrors the two drives for protection, so usable space is half the listed capacity.
