This Aten IC485SI RS-232/RS-485 Interface Converter transfers data according to RTS (transfer requests) signal control. It supports point-to-point and multipoint communication, simplex/duplex connections, and is switchable between full duplex and half duplex, and DCE and DTE. It needs no external power supply and is the most economical and reliable option.
