Ashton Bentley TX2 Table Hub Features
- USB-C and HDMI laptop inputs in one box. The TX2 gives each presenter one fully specified USB-C input and one HDMI input with signal sensing, so guests plug in whichever cable their laptop uses. Both inputs are carried to the DX2 Room Hub, which means nothing else is needed at the table.
- Uncompressed 4K60 4:4:4 video. Video passes at up to 4K at 60 Hz, 4:4:4, 8-bit, with a 600 MHz maximum pixel clock and 16 Gb/s of video data sent to the DX2. Text, spreadsheets, and CAD stay sharp because nothing is compressed, though the link is 8-bit rather than 10-bit.
- One Cat6a or Cat7 cable up to 35 m. Video, audio, USB, and control travel between the TX2 and the DX2 Room Hub on a single Cat6a or Cat7 cable of up to 35 m. A 10 m Cat7 cable is in the box, and the TX2 is powered over that same link from the DX2.
- USB-C with 100W charging and USB 2.0. The USB-C input carries video, USB 2.0 data at up to 350 Mbit/s, and device charging up to 20V at 5A (100W). Charging needs the optional 24V USB-C Charging Power Supply, part 900-00585, because the DX2 link alone does not supply that power.
- Network port through to the USB-C device. A dedicated RJ45 port on the TX2 gives the connected USB-C laptop a 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection. A visitor's laptop can reach the network without a separate adapter or dongle, which helps where Wi-Fi is restricted for guests or the room is wired only.
- Per-input EDID and HDCP control. EDID can be chosen from presets or copied from the connected display for each input, and HDCP 1.4/2.2 can be disabled if a video conferencing codec objects. This helps resolve handshake and resolution problems without swapping cables or adding an EDID emulator.
- Independently scalable HDMI output. The HDMI output on the TX2 can feed a local monitor or a content-ingest device at the table. The System Configurator also lets you route this output as either HDMI or USB-C video, and switch automatically on source connection or manually from a touch panel.
- ABNET port for the Tablebox Touch Panel. An RJ45 ABNET port connects the optional Tablebox Touch Panel (900-00509), giving presenters colored buttons to pick inputs at the table. The TX2 also fits in Ashton Bentley table legs and takes locking USB-C and HDMI cables or retractors to prevent accidental disconnection.
