The QSC Q-SYS QIO-FLEX4A is a multi-purpose network audio and control I/O expander designed to extend Q-SYS systems with flexible connectivity where it is needed. It provides four software-configurable Flex audio channels, 4x8 GPIO, one RS-232 serial port, and two amplifier outputs in a compact network peripheral.
Each Flex channel can be configured as a mic/line input with optional +48 V phantom power or as a line output. This makes the QIO-FLEX4A suitable for presentation spaces, meeting rooms, collaborative environments, legislative chambers, and other professional AV installations requiring flexible distributed I/O.
The QIO-FLEX4A connects natively to Q-SYS through Q-LAN and supports PoE+. Up to four QIO Series expanders can also be daisy-chained on a single network run when local DC power is used, helping reduce network cabling and simplify system expansion.
Two integrated amplifier outputs provide up to 9W per channel at 4 ohms with auxiliary 24 VDC power, or up to 5W per channel using PoE+. The QIO-FLEX4A can be surface- or wall-mounted, or installed in a 1RU half-rack configuration with the optional QIO-RMK rack kit.
