This BirdDog BD4KSDI 4K 12G-SDI NDI Encoder/Decoder supports up to UHD 4K/60 video input for distribution across NDI networks using full-bandwidth I-frame compression.

Housed in a compact, aircraft-grade aluminum case, it features a 12G-SDI input and individual 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 outputs.

The built-in cross converter allows the SDI input to be looped out through the HDMI output.

SFP+ Expansion Slot: The SFP+ expansion slot supports SFP+ modules for fiber connectivity and Ethernet protocols from 1 to 10GbE.

Tally System: The built-in tally system features a large, bicolor tally light to indicate which camera is live to on-air talent. It also supports selectable tally indicators on video loop outputs.

Audio and Connectivity: The device includes 3.5mm audio input/output, a four-line OLED display, and a USB 3.0 interface. It can be powered using a standard power supply or through PoE+.

BirdDog Comms Lite Software: The 4K 12G-SDI NDI Encoder/Decoder includes Comms Lite audio intercom software for Windows, supporting up to four BirdDog devices.
