This Hall Technologies UH18-R HDMI + USB + LAN over UTP Extender with HDBaseT and PoC (Receiver) extends HDMI Video, USB, IR, and RS-232 on a single CAT6 cable to over 100 meters. It is perfect for allowing access to a PC from a remote user location and can be used to place the PC in a secure location away from the user station. The Sender provides local HDMI loop output as well as a USB hub so users can access the PC locally as well as from a remote station.
The UH18 provides 18 Gbps video bandwidth and supports HDMI resolutions up to and including 4K @ 60 Hz 4:4:4 (UHD). The Sender has a built in video splitter and features a convenient local HDMI video output connector.
USB 2.0 extends from a USB host connected at the Sender. Both the Sender and the Receiver have USB hubs with two USB device ports for connecting USB devices such as a keyboard, mouse, touch screen, printer, flash drive, web cam or other USB 1.1/2.0 device.
The extender kit also provides a user selectable “LONG REACH” mode. In this mode, the extender kit can support distances to 150 meters (500 feet) with a maximum resolution of 1920×1080 (1080p).
For extra convenience the remote receiver de-embeds HDMI audio and provides both analog (L/R stereo on 3.5mm jack) as well as digital SPDIF via RCA. This is a perfect for connecting a pair of speakers at the remote location using the Hall Research AMP-4840 audio amplifier.
