The Component Video to CAT5 Extender Set comes with one send unit and one receive unit, a total of 2 units. You don't need to buy anything else except the CAT-5 cables and component cables. The Component Video to CAT5 Extender is comprised of two extender units that can be used interchangeably with one is installed near the video signal source, the other to be placed near the desired display, up to an impressive 200m away. 1. Connect the Component Video cable to the outputs on the back of the video source.Connect the opposite end of the Component Video cable used in Step 1 to ST-COMPUTPEXTA local unit.
2. Connect the opposite end of the Component Video cable used in Step 1 to ST-CPNTUTPEXT local unit (marked Y, Pb, Pr respectively).
3. Connect the Cat5 cable to the RJ45 port on ST-CPNTUTPEXT local unit (marked RJ-45 Balanced Component Video).
4. Connect the opposite end of the Cat5 cable to the RJ45 port on the ST-CPNTUTPEXT remote unit.
5. Connect a second Component Video cable to the designated
ports on the output ST-SVIDUTPEXT unit (marked Y, Pb, Pr).
6. Connect the remaining end of the Component Video cable to
