HDTV Supply's WolfPack 4K 60 HDMI 2.0 Extender with Cascade Function with one CAT5e/6 cable can extend your 4K HDMI 2.0 HD source up to 200 feet to your 4K 60 TV. This 4K 60 HDMI 2.0 Extender over CAT6 has a HDMI Cascading Function oup to 7-cascades. It can also extend the IR signals by using the same CAT6 cable. It supports a POE function so that you only need to connect the one (1) 12V/1a DC power adapter to either the HDMI Transmitter (TX) or the HDMI Receiver (RX).

4K 60 HDMI 2.0 Extender w/Cascade Function Features:

  • Supports 4K60Hz 4:4:4 at 18Gbps
  • Built-in Automatic Color Space Converter:
    • Converts RGB to YCbCr 444 & YCbCr 420
    • Converts YCbCr 444 to YCbCr 420 & RGB
    • Converts YCbCr 420 to YCbCr 444 & RGB
  • HDR, HDMI 2.0 and HDCP2.2
  • Extends 200 feet with CAT6/6a/7 cables
  • Any single unit can be used as a HDMI Transmitter or a HDMI Receiver just by pressing the "Switch" button
  • POE: Power Over Transmitter (TX) or the Receiver (RX)
  • Needs only one AC Adapter which is supplied
  • Includes both the HDMI transmitter (TX) & the HDMI Receiver (RX)
  • Zero latency and lossless compression (Solving problems that normal extenders face
  • Innovative cascade design (supports one to 7 from the RX)
  • HDMI Loop-out on the TX & the RX
  • 3D compatible
  • Lightning protection, surge protection and ESD protection
  • Worldwide Power Supply
HDMI Cascading: Our 4K 60 HDMI 2.0 Extender allows 1-to-1, or 1-to-Many extension with an additional Receiver (RX). You can use any of the units as a TX or RX by switching them to what you want, for example, you can use it as 1-TX and 7- RXs to have a cascaded connection. Uses only one power supply at TX or RX. If in cascade connection you need to connect each RX to a power supply that is supplied.

Interchangeable TX & RX: Each 4K 60 HDMI 2.0 transmitter and receiver has a switch on the of which you can make a transmitter a receiver or receiver a transmitter. This is an ideal extender for installers who don't want to keep track of independent transmitters and receivers is that they can just flip a switch to make what they need. When you switch the function, you need to change input/output of the cat5e/6 cables. The audio always plays audio that from the TX. The HDMI Loopout always play video from TX. That means when you switch the unit to be used as an RX, you need to change HDMI display to HDMI output other than loopout.

Built-in Color Space Converter: The Color Space Converter can convert RGB and YCbCr by the above specs. It should be noted that YCbCr 422 shares the same color space with YCbCr 444 in internal routing, so any conversion that YCbCr supports, YCbCr 422 also supports it.

HDMI Loop Out on the TX: Allows one additional display on the signal sending side providing for a local monitor or cascading. The HDMI Loop Out always play video from the TX. That means when you switch the unit to work as an RX, you need to change HDMI display to HDMI output other than the HDMI Loopout.

Both Optical & R/L Audio Outs The 4K 60 HDMI 2.0 Extender has 2-separate audio outs, one Optical (SRDIF) and one 3.5mm Stereo out. These can be used with sound bars who have optical or stereo inputs. They cannot be used with TVs as they have audio outs, not inputs, and does not support ARC or eARC.

Bi-directional IR: Bi-directional IR pass-through for source and/or display control. You can control a device like a DVD player at the TX end and control TV at the RX end. If controlled at the RX end, please connect the IR blaster extension cable to the IR OUT of the TX and connect the IR receiver extension cable with IR IN to the RX. If controlled at the TX end, please connect IR receiver extension cable to the IR IN of TX and connect IR blaster extension cable to the IR OUT of the RX.

This

4K 60 HDMI 2.0 Extender to 200 feet

uses the DSC standard which features:

Native 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 coding Eliminates the need to convert pixels into red, green, blue (RGB) components, which allows for direct compression of incoming sub-sampled pixels. This enables more efficient compression (e.g., 2:1 for YCbCr 4:2:0 coding versus 3:1 with RGB conversion), which in turn results in superior image quality for digital TVs, which often utilize YCbCr 4:2:0 coding.

Up to 16 bits per color: Expands the number of bits per color that can be used, supporting native pixel coding at 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 bits per color for input and output formats. DSC 1.1 supported only 8, 10 and 12 bits per color. The additional support of 14 and 16 bit depth allows complete compatibility with existing transports and wide color depth pixel formats enables the display of very high color depth content.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) HDR TV shows and movies are becoming available for on-line streaming, and Ultra HD Blu-ray discs with HDR titles are expected to hit the market soon. Because the higher color depth of HDR requires more data, the increased compression efficiency of 4:2:0 format by DSC 1.2a and through the DP 1.4a transport specification (which recognizes the BT.2020 color standard) will be a key enabler for driving adoption of HDR TV technology, especially as resolutions increase beyond 4K.
