HDTV Supplys 1x2 HDMI Splitter Over Coax extends a single HDMI video and stereo audio signal to two (2) widescreens over a single point-to-point coax cable to TVs that can be 1,500 feet away. The 1x2 HDMI Splitter Over Coax provides digital coding processing for HDMI signal with our DTV technology. This 1x2 HDMI Splitter Over Coax adopts our RF modulation technology that can be expanded to transmit the one HDMI signal up to 80 - TVs (with large splitters & not supplied) via one coaxial cable per the TVs HDMI input. No fiber and no special training required as well as you don′t have the limitations on distance like you find in HDMI cabling and HD-SDI systems.
NOTE 1: This 1x2 HDMI Splitter Over Coax converts HDMI to coax and then back to HDMI at the 2-TVs. It cannot be used to go into TVs with coax inputs, only HDMI!

1x2 HDMI to Passive Coax Splitter Specs:
The 1x2 coax bi-directional splitter provide a 1 GHz bandwidth and are ideal for this application.
By adding larger mixers (coax splitters) in the future you can expand to more TVs by just buying additional HDMI receivers.
NOTE 2: These high powered units are designed to send an HDMI signal upwards of 1,500 feet so you will need to select a high channel like 80 and maybe use attenuators on the transmitters.
Transmit below 300 feet, please choose an high channel;
Transmit below 300 feet, if you choose high channel and don′t have a signal add one or more attenuators in series with the coaxial cable on the transmitter.
We suggest you use 20db or 30db (adjustable)attenuators if your application is to transmit below 100m.
Or you can use over 100m coax cable to transmit below a 100m distance.
Why not buy this 1x2 HDMI Splitter Over Coax today?
Our 1x2 HDMI Splitter Over Coax offers solutions for noise, space and security concerns, data center control, information distribution, conference room presentation, school and corporate training environments.
NOTE 1: This 1x2 HDMI Splitter Over Coax includes an HDMI TRANSMITTER unit and 2-HDMI RECEIVERS and all must be used. It cannot work with only one box and needs all boxes. It cannot be used to convert an incoming coax signal to an HDMI signal. Think of it as multiple long HDMI cables.
NOTE 2: Existing in-house passive splitters drop the signal strength in half, or more, so delete all of the coax splitters and wire this device with home run coax cables directly as it won't work with existing coax splitters. This unit should NOT be used in conjunction with connector adapters, signal processors, switches or amplifiers between the Source and Display device. This HDMI to Coax splitter sends only one HDMI signal to a multiple TVs with the Receivers at the TV. It does not work any other way. If you are trying to send one coax signal to a TV with an HDMI input it won't work. One set includes a transmitter and a receiver set.
Our HDMI over Coax devices are designed and tested to work directly from the Source device to the Displays. They cannot be used in conjunction with connector adapters, signal processors, switches or amplifiers between the Source and Display device. Results can be no picture and the Receiver end of HDMI device will be damaged.
Q: My coax distances are less than 300 feet, what do you recommend?
A: These high powered units are designed to send an HDMI signal upwards of 1,500 feet so you will need to select a high channel like 80 and use attenuators on the transmitters.
Transmit below 300 feet, please choose an high channel;
Transmit below 300 feet, if you choose high channel and don't have a signal add one attenuator in series with the coaxial cable.
Q: Do you have any actual test reports of this HDMI Extender Over Coax extender?
A: Here is what we have tested in our lab. TX means Transmitter and RX mean Receiver.
1-TX to 1-RX: Using a 75 ohm RG6 coax cable it can transmit up to 500M or more by setting the dip switch channel to below 4CH.
1-TX to 1-RX (buying and adding an amplifier): Using a 75 ohm RG6 coax cable it can transmit up to 500M. The distance is decided by an optional amplifier and we suggest you use an adjustable gain amplifier and place the location of TX after 200M.
Splitter mode (1-TX to 8-RX): Using a 75 ohm RG6 coax cable it can transmit over 500M and you can add many RXs in theory.
Splitter mode + Loop out mode: The transmit distance will be different because each TV splitter and has 3dB –5dB signal attenuation. We suggest you add one amplifier.
Matrix mode (6-TX to 6-RX): Using a 75 ohm coax cable you can transmit over 500M. You can connect many TXs and RXs in theory.
Please make sure you have selected the correct channel when you use these devices. To transmit an HDMI signal long distances please use lower channel and for shorter distance, use a high channel. Please see the below.
400-500M: 1 to 5 CH
200-400M: 5 to 20 CH
100-200M: 20 to 80 CH
Below 100M: You will need attenuators due to the power of this unit. One will be supplied if you have this short length so tell us.
Q: What are the benefits of different frequencies?
The HDMI to Coax Splitter supports 80 channels of frequency ranges from 139MHz to 950MHz. If you use many transmitters and many receivers, only the transmitter and receiver have the same frequency as it can receive the signal. This function and anti-interference and error correction allows the unit to work flawlessly.
Q: Any tips you can give me on the install?
A: In-house and existing passive splitters drop the signal strength in half, or more, so delete all of the splitters and wire this device directly as it won't work with coax splitters. They should NOT be used in conjunction with connector adapters, signal processors, switches or amplifiers between the Source and Display device. This HDMI to Coax Splitter sends only one HDMI signal to a TV with the receive unit at the TV. It does not work any other way. If you are trying to send one coax signal to a TV with an HDMI input it won't work. One set includes a transmitter and a receiver set. Think of it as a long HDMI cable.
Q: I need to send a cable box to 12-widescreens over 200 feet away, what do I buy?
A: You will need one 1x16 coax splitter and 12-receivers plus all cables (not supplied). The single HDMI to coax transmitter comes with it.
Q: I have 5-TVs...1-TV 6 feet away, 1-TV 75 feet away, 2-TVs 150 feet away and 1-TV 225 feet away, what do I buy?
A: You will need one 1x8 coax splitter and 5-receivers plus all cables (not supplied). The single HDMI to CAT5 transmitter comes with it.
Q: I need to send a PC to 16-widescreens 150 feet away with all showing the same picture, what do I buy?
A: You will need one 1x16 coax splitter and 16-receivers plus all cables (not supplied>.
Q: Sometimes we see a message on the screen "Searching for TX", what is that?
A: That usually happens when the source is turned off or in a standby mode with the HDMI connector not outputting any signal. The (TX) transmitter is looking for a hot HDMI signal on its input.
Q: Does this HDMI to Coax Splitter support 3D or 4K?

1x2 HDMI Splitter Over Coax FAQ:
In normal conditions the transmission distance w/o amplification can be up to 500 meters or 1,500 feet using SYV-75-5 coaxial cables
The signal strength will become weakened after adding DTV network mixers and multiple outputs as used in splitter and matrix applications.
If the signal frequency is high, the transmission attenuation is greater. So choose low channel for
When the transmission distance is short (less than 100 meters or 330 feet) the signal may be too strong and the receiver will protect the strong signal and display "NO SIGNAL" to the display. If that is the case you should choose a higher channel via DIP switches or add an attenuator in line with the coaxial cable for signal attenuation.
