The core of the these Composite Seamless Modular Composite Matrix Switcher Chassis consists of its highly configurable backplane that supports up to 36-seamless Composite input cards & up to 36-seamless Composite output cards. You can control the Composite Matrix Switcher via its iOS or Android app, a few simple button taps from the front panel buttons, a WEB GUI Browser control or the Dual RS-232 serial and LAN ports. Our Modular Composite Matrix Switchers also can support high-resolution Composite sources routed to Composite displays, monitors, projectors, etc.
This Modular WolfPack Modular Matrix System has dual RS232 ports on the back of the chassis that can be used (1) as a back-up control if one malfunctions and (2) you can use the 2nd-RS232 port to control the Matrix Switcher at the same time as the first. The same for the 2-LAN ports.
Hardware Scaling via DIP Switches on both in and out cards: The 8-pin DIP switch on the cards are for the up/down manual scaling of resolutions. Each HDMI card has a 8-pin DIP switch to select multiple resolution settings to conform to your source devices and the destination devices.

EDID HANDSHAKE MANAGEMENT: The Modular Composite Matrix Routers EDID provides for optimal source-to-screen switching. EDID will optimize the video card output for the capabilities of the end display. The EDID ghost unit enables the copying, emulating, cloning, and "learning" of EDID data from a display. EXAMPLE: If you want to switch input 8 to output 1, 8, 16, the RS232 command would be 8x1&8&16. and notice the command has a period (.) at the end of the string. The matrix even replies "OK" when the right command is received and shows "ERR" when receiving a wrong command. Here is the RS232 User Manual if you want to write your own drivers.

A: Turn it OFF and then disconnect the matrix from the AC power and all cables. Pull out each board from the rear and push back in. Plug all cables back in and turn it on.
