A DVI gender changer may be needed depending upon your configuration and equipment.

NOTE 1: This product passes video only and is 1080p and HDMI 1.3a rated and others are not. This adapter will support audio only if your source device allows audio output through the Mini-DVI interface. If you're not sure, please check with the manufacturer or website, to confirm if your device allows audio out through the mini-DVI interface.

NOTE 2: The new MacBook and MackBook PRO Uni-Body that started shipping late 2008, early 2009 have mini-DisplayPort connectors, not mini-DVI so this product won't work. See our new Mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapter.

NOTE 3: The MAC's announced in March 2009 may have the mini-DVI connector so check your manual to make sure it does. We have heard that many do.
