Analog Component Video to "Analog" DVI-I Cable - Doesn't Work with Digital Devices!
This 1080p analog component video to "analog" DVI-I cable is for some satellite TVs, component RGB Video, Y-Pb-Pr video and most DVI-I "analog, not digital" LCD Projectors
This component video to DVI-I cable is specifically designed for high-definition DVI-I "analog" video applications. It supports all resolutions up to and including 1080p.
All plasma's, LCD's and DLP's are "digital" so this cable won't work with digital HDTV's, only analog TV's!
If you don't know what digital or analog means, read your projector or TV manual and it must say it is an ANALOG device.
Guy B, a recent buyer said:I bought your cable to connect my DVD player (component output) to my Dell front projector (VGA input) and it works great! I'm very happy with everything (service, quality, price, shipping time...etc.)
The cables analog DVI-I's end is for an HDTV, not a DVD player, cable or sat box. The cable will not convert a DVI-D output, like from an upconverting DVD player and sat / cable box, to an HDTV.
This 1080p component video to DVI-I cable is used mostly DVI-I inputs on LCD projectors. The input and outputs MUST be analog. Most HDTV's have digital DVI-D inputs, again digital, and this cable is not compatible with digital inputs, only analog DVI-I. There are no returns on this cable.
The component video to DVI-I cable is constructed of three individually shielded, 75-ohm coax cables, which provide a connection that maximizes color and image. The cable features 100% shield with an overlapped foil and copper braid. The shield is continues through the connector with a 360-degree tin solder joint between the cable braid and a copper foil wrap on the DVI-I copper shield under mold, providing a shielding solution for a noise-free connection. The cable is constructed to meet the UL listing.
The component video to DVI-I cable does not work with your computer monitor video port, or any Y-Cr-Cb video. Your video source must provide a analog Y-Pb-Pr component video signal from the analog DVI-I video port. Read your manual if you don't know.
Also the cable DVI-I's end is for an HDTV, not a DVD player, cable or sat box. The cable will not convert a DVI-D output, like from an upconverting DVD player and sat / cable box to an HDTV. There are warranty returns on this cable only and no returns if used as above.
