This Stereo audio isolation transformer is an ideal device for eliminating noise from your audio/video applications by eradicating ground loops and DC paths that causes buzzing sound and signal degradation.

Stereo audio isolation transformer Features:

  • Reduce audio noise produced by ground loops
  • 20Hz~20KHz frequency response
  • Can be connected easily with standard audio cables
  • Also available with composite and component video applications
Connect this ground loop isolation transformer to your audio and video system and get rid of the humming noises affecting your modern systems. Getting proper sound is as easy if you connect it at the end of A/V cable until the ground loop is gone. This isolation transformer is compatible with composite video and component video applications.

Why not buy this Stereo Audio Isolation Transformer today?

Every installation technician has faced it or soon will - the dreaded humming from the speakers, a telltale sign of a ground loop. Ground loops are caused by voltage potential differences at the ground point on your equipment. Voltages in the range of microvolts up to millivolts or higher can cause ground loops. Ground loops occur when multiple audio/video components are powered from different outlets, most commonly, outlets that are tied to different circuitbreakers or even a different secondary from the power transformer.

Ground loops manifest themselves in the form of speaker hum.

Our isolation transformer easily connects into your audio/video system and breaks the ground path through cables between components. Start at the component last installed before the ground loop was discovered, and connect the isolation transformer at different ends of the audio/video cable until the ground loop is gone. Gold-plated 3.5mm stereo jacks.

Input: Two RCA Female Output: Two RCA Female

Please Note: While this transformer is designed to eliminate ground loops, isolating the source of the ground loop can be very difficult even for professional technicians. Sometimes the problem can be at the last added component or at the furthest from the main system; however, these might only be symptoms of a harder-to-solve problem. Please exercise patience as you work through test scenarios to eliminate your ground loop issue

Q: What is the minimum isolation in mega-ohms? Are the shields of input and output connected?

A: The minimum isolation is 1 mega-ohm (testing condition is 100V). The shields of the input and output are not connected.
