The 1080p rated Video Storm CMX88 8X8 component video matrix switcher allows you to send 8 of 8 component audio video inputs to eight unique outputs. This is a superb unit for bars, restaurants and large homes. Because it is a matrix switcher, it allows any input to be routed to any output; or the same input to be routed to all outputs or any combination.

The Video Storm CMX88 8X8 component video matrix switcher integrates everything you need to distribute all your HDTV video and audio sources to 8 or 16 different displays throughout your home, bar or restaurant. Each output is individually switchable.

Video Storm CMX88 8X8 component video matrix switcher features 8 input sets, each includes the following:

HDTV component video
Digital audio Coax / RCA
Digital audio TOSLINK / Optical
Analog audio R/L

NOTE 2: The yellow jack is usually dedicated for the switching of digital audio via the RCA connector. It can also be dedicated for composite video switching. One or the other can be used as video and audio on that connector can't be mixed.

The Video Storm CMX88 has flexible control options and can be controlled by several methods, you can choose the one the best fits your home theater control scheme.

Each output is individually switchable. You can configure the CMX88 such that video and audio switch together (normal mode), or video and audio can be controlled separately (advanced mode).

The circuit will restore the DC levels on the output video to the proper specification levels regardless of what is present on the input.

The remote control interface uses ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each of the inputs & outputs. ZeroKey technology is compatible with virtually all remote controls, and does not interfere with the normal operation of the remote.
