HDTV Supply has teamed up with Audio Authority to offer this Modular Component Matrix Switch System which features a flexible card-and-cage design with an ultra-high
bandwidth backplane supporting up to 12-input sources to 64-output zones with various changeable input and output cards to make the modular Matrix Switcher System an extremely flexible solution for a variety of different projects. Because it is a matrix switcher, it allows any input to be routed to any output; or the same input to be routed to all outputs, or any combination.

The Component Matrix Switch system is designed to be easy to
configure, control, and customize for a wide range of audio/
video or audio only applications. It features an open
control architecture (IR, serial and Ethernet), a flexible
array of video and audio inputs/outputs, advanced digital
signal processing, and an ultra-wide bandwidth backplane
which enables large matrix systems with no loss in signal
NOTE: This Component Matrix Switch is not in stock as we custom build each unit and then we do a burn in which takes a couple days. The unit has a one year warranty and is non-returnable and non-cancelable do to it being a custom built Component Matrix Switch. Call Us at 800-841-9238 to configure a system for you.

Q: Why doesn't the Component Matrix Switch have a remote control?
A: The matrix is professional grade matrix, designed for integrated systems that use a comprehensive control system such as Control 4, Cinemar, RTI, Crestron, or URC. It also can be controlled by the front panel.
HDTV Supply includes a 1 Year Limited Warranty on this Component Matrix Switch. The warranty states that (a) this unit will perform substantially in accordance with the accompanying written materials for a period of 1 year from the date of receipt and (b) that the product will be free from defects in materials & workmanship under normal use & service for a period of 1 year. In order to get a warranty replacement for a defective priduct, HDTV Supplys Support Team will verify the product is eligible for warranty. An RMA number will then be issued. The shipped unit will be in like new conditions, tested and all components included.
Q: How can I order a specific configuration?
A: Use the Component Matrix Switch HLX Configurator to design a custom HLX, then call us at 800-841-9238 with your order. Custom configurations are shipped fully assembled and tested.
Q: Can I use just one Cat 5 cable to zones that require component video with no audio or IR?
A: Yes, if you use a Model 1110 adapter, any HLX dual Cat 5 output can feed a Model 1180R or 1180RD single-Cat 5 zone receiver. These receivers offer component video and digital audio, but no IR pathway, and no analog audio connections.
Q: Why doesn't the HLX include a remote control? A: The HLX is a professional grade matrix, designed for integrated systems that use a comprehensive control system such as Control 4, Cinemar, RTI, Crestron, or URC.
Q: What are the main differences beween the HLX and the AVAtrix? A: The AVAtrix was a very effective system for small matrix applications, but the HLX provides many advantages over the AVAtrix in capacity and design. The HLX has a maximum capacity of 12 sources, compared to the AVAtrix maximum of six. The HLX offers Ethernet control, and many other features not available on the AVAtrix. See a detailed comparison here.
Q: Can I configure the HLX for 16 source inputs? A: Yes, see guidelines and limitations for 16 source configurations.
