DVIGear DVI-4121 2 to 1 DVI Switcher
The DVI switcher is a high-performance, HDCP compliant DVI Switcher that delivers superior performance and reliability for a broad range of PC and HDTV applications. Designed to meet the most demanding installation requirements, these units are housed in a rugged, yet extremely compact enclosure. Each DVI switcher is compatible with the full spectrum of single-link DVI signals with pixel rates up to 165 MHz (1.65 GBit/sec.), which allows them to accept HDTV signals with resolutions up to 1080p and PC resolutions up to 1920x1200 / 60Hz.

An optional IR Remote Receiver is available for applications requiring the DVI switcher to be located in a different area. An LED display clearly indicates the current input selection, as well as the presence of DC Power. An AC power adapter is included with each DVI switcher that provides +9 VDC required for operation.
The DVI switcher provides two (2) inputs and one (1) output. All inputs and outputs utilize DVI-I connectors. Each DVI switcher can be controlled either via a front panel input selection button or using an included infrared remote control unit. The IR remote controller can be easily reprogrammed to avoid conflicts with other IR remote controls within its usable range (10 meters / 32.8 ft).
Note 1: To ensure optimum performance, you should use 1080p tested cables with this DVI switcher.
Note 2: This DVI switcher is designed to distribute DVI signals to one or more DVI displays. The use of HDMI displays with this unit is also possible, as long as the source devices are DVI enabled. The use of HDMI sources is possible, as long as the display is DVI enabled. The switcher will not work properly when the input signal is HDMI and the output is connected to an HDMI display.
Note 3: This DVI switcher supports DVI signals with or without HDCP encryption.
Note 4: Please note that the display connected to the output port is used as the EDID reference for all input signals.
