HDTV Supplys WolfPack POE HDMI Wallplate Extender over IP use our implementation of H.264 LAN technology as the compression format so it occupies a lower bandwidth and transmits HDMI video and audio over the LAN for a better picture. The HDMI Wallplate Extender over IP supports distances up to ~400 feet over single CAT6/7 cable in point to point, point to many and many to many configurations.

POE Designed: By utilizing POE (Power Over Ethernet) technology both HDMI audio and video signals and power can be sent to a device via standard CAT6/7/6a cabling. This means you do not need to install a power outlet at the device location and you can use readily available, relatively low cost Ethernet cabling with this HDMI Wallplate Extender over IP Extender.

Conversion to TCP/IP allows you to forego the limitations of point-to-point extender systems and transmit directly over your network. You can also use this HDMI Wallplate Extender over IP as a typical point-to-point extender and transmit for up to ~400 feet over a single CAT6/7 cable or 330 feet over a CAT6 cable. In a one-to-many configuration the transmitter (TX) features a static IP address and can be paired with dozens of HDMI Wallplate Extender over IP receivers on the same network.

User supplied POE Ethernet switch is required.
