9-Separate Bundled Component Video Baluns
This 9x9 Component Matrix Over CAT6 is designed to work as a switcher for multiple Video sources and displays. The 9x9 Component Matrix Over CAT6 is a true Matrix Routing Switcher for Component Video (YPbPr or RGB) signals with no audio. Because it is a matrix router, any input may be sent to any output; or the same input may be sent to all outputs or any combination.

It switches 9 individual Component Video inputs to 9 individual Component Video outputs and then is connected to 9 - individual outboard component to CAT6 extenders.

The 9x9 Component Matrix is made up of the following:

The selection of inputs is made via the Front Panel display or RS 232 control by computer. The 9x9 Component Matrix w/o Audio Over CAT6 includes Windows based GUI switching program at no additional charge. Nine (9) memory locations to store preset matrices.

The Component Over CAT6 Baluns are comprised of two units that can be used interchangeable; one is installed near the video signal source and the other to be placed near the desired display with up to an impressive 300ft / 100m away. With no software or power adapter required installation and setup is quick and hassle-free.

If you need audio also see our 8x8 Component Video Matrix w/Audio Over CAT6 Extenders.

Here is how to program remotes control with ZeroKey Technology: This Component Matrix Switcher uses ZeroKey Technology if you want to use with a remote control (not supplied). It can be controlled manually by the front panel or by any remote control given it has enough buttons. The remote control interface uses ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each one of the four video & audio inputs.

The remote control interface uses ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each one of the video & audio inputs. Here are the steps to program the matrix for your remote control.

  1. Press the toggle button to select the input/output pair you would like to train
  2. Hold the toggle button for 3 seconds and release
  3. The LED indicator for the selected channel will now flash continuously, this means it is ready to be programmed
  4. Aim your remote control at the matrix switch and press the key you would like to use to select this input
  5. The LED indicator will stop flashing, this means the code has been stored.
  6. Repeat for the other input/output pairs (up to 16 total).
Q: Does this 9x9 Component Matrix Over CAT6 support audio?
A:
No, if you need audio see 8x8 Component Video Matrix w/Audio Over CAT6 Extenders.

Q: I see used Philips Prontos on eBay for $50, will they work?
A:
Model TSU2000, 3000, 6000, 7000 are known to work and can be used with the Colorado line of matrix switchers to 16x64. See the .ccf codes in the above MANUALS Tab.

Q: What is ZeroKey control?
A:
There is no remote control that comes with the Colorado as the remote control interface can use ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each of the inputs and outputs. ZeroKey technology is compatible with virtually all remote controls, and does not interfere with the normal operation of the remote. ZeroKey programming is stored in flash memory, and you will not need to reprogram even if you lose power. If you buy a new remote in the future, don't worry, the Colorado can be reprogrammed as much as you like.

Q: I have serial control of the Colorado 9x9 matrix working now. Is there a way I can have the initial power up state of the matrix be something other than all channels be 0?
A:
Yes. Set the switch to whatever state you want the power on default to be. Select CF3F on the front panel, press and hold right button for 6 seconds. This stores current settings as power on default
