This 1080p VGA to DVI-A cable connects an analog VGA port on a computer to an analog monitor with a DVI-A connector. Many older projectors on the market utilize this technology to provide the flexibility of connecting to either analog VGA or analog DVI inputs.
This VGA to DVI-A cable is pre-tested to 150-MHz or 1080p before we ship to give you flawless high definition video.
Applications: If you are planning to connect a DVI-A ( Analog ) output from your PC to a VGA input on a projector or computer monitor, please make sure that DVI connection is analog and not digital and able to support a DVI-A or DVI-I type of connection.
The cable does not support a DVI output from a cable / satellite box or a DVD player as those signals are digital nor does it support an VGA output device going to an HDTV with a digital DVI-D input. This cable only supports analog signals!
This cable is for interconnecting a computer, computer monitor, video projectors and such. VGA Connection can also be called SVGA, S-VGA, HD-15 and DB-15.
