High bandwidth is required so not to impact the detail in HDTV and DVD video. High definition component video requires around 37 MHz of bandwidth to pass a 720p/1080i signal. Our cables are tested to at least 37 MHz of usable video bandwidth per wire. We test 1080p cables to 150 MHz. The difference between cables is not so much their ability to handle a given bandwidth, rather it is how well they shield a signal at a given frequency.
Component cables from us can handle at least 37 or 150 MHz MHz per cable because it blocks virtually all the interference in the video frequency spectrum and it
is shielded with a 95% copper braid and foil to effectively eliminate interference. This is the main reason why you may notice an immediate improvement in picture quality.
Each individual wire of the cable has been tested. All of our digital high definition video cables are also HDCP Copy Protection Compliant. Our audio cables are pre-tested up to
50 KHz to assure them of giving you flawless sound.
