Video distribution with the 9X9 Component Video Matrix Switch

The 9X9 Component Video Matrix Switch has output amplifiers designed for driving long video cables. Many vendors claim their products can do this, but very few can accomplish this without distortion of the video. The most important amplifier design factors in driving long cables are source impedance matching, output connector quality, amplifier bandwidth, and amplifier current drive and slew rate. Our output amplifiers use the best components for all these, resulting in the best signal distribution you can get.

Control the 9X9 Component Video Matrix Switch using a web browser.

The 9X9 Component Video Matrix Switch can be fully controlled using a standard web browser. This allows you to use any networked PC, or even your iPhone, to control your matrix.

ZeroKey Technology: The remote control interface can use ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each of the inputs & outputs. ZeroKey technology is compatible with virtually all remote controls, and does not interfere with the normal operation of the remote. Please see our quick start guide for a description of how to program for an IR remote using ZeroKey.

ZeroKey programming is stored in flash memory, and you will not need to reprogram even if you lose power. If you buy a new remote in the future, don't worry, the Mississippi 9X9 Component Video Matrix Switch can be reprogrammed as much as you like.

Why not buy the 9X9 Component Video Matrix Switch today?

Here is how to program remotes control with ZeroKey Technology: This Component Matrix Switcher uses ZeroKey Technology if you want to use with a remote control (not supplied). It can be controlled manually by the front panel or by any remote control given it has enough buttons. The remote control interface uses ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each one of the four video & audio inputs.

The remote control interface uses ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each one of the video & audio inputs. Here are the steps to program the matrix for your remote control.

  1. Press the toggle button to select the input/output pair you would like to train
  2. Hold the toggle button for 3 seconds and release
  3. The LED indicator for the selected channel will now flash continuously, this means it is ready to be programmed
  4. Aim your remote control at the matrix switch and press the key you would like to use to select this input
  5. The LED indicator will stop flashing, this means the code has been stored.
  6. Repeat for the other input/output pairs (up to 16 total).

This 9X9 Component Video Matrix Switch works with:

  1. Any high definition Dish Network and DirecTV receiver with component outputs
  2. High definition TiVo's with component outputs
  3. Any high definition cable receiver with component outputs
  4. Canadian Rogers, Shaw, Bell ExpressVu and Star Choice receivers with component outputs
  5. Any "Over The Air" (OTA) high definition receiver with component outputs

  13. Many A/V surround sound receivers with component switching.
  14. and other similar devices.
Q: I see used Philips Prontos on eBay for $50, will they work?
A:
Model TSU2000, 3000, 6000, 7000 are known to work and can be used with the Colorado line of matrix switchers to 16x64. See the .ccf codes in the above MANUALS Tab.

Q: What is ZeroKey control?
A:
There is no remote control that comes with the Colorado as the remote control interface can use ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each of the inputs and outputs. ZeroKey technology is compatible with virtually all remote controls, and does not interfere with the normal operation of the remote. ZeroKey programming is stored in flash memory, and you will not need to reprogram even if you lose power. If you buy a new remote in the future, don't worry, the Colorado can be reprogrammed as much as you like.

Q: I have serial control of the Colorado 9x9 matrix working now. Is there a way I can have the initial power up state of the matrix be something other than all channels be 0?
A:
Yes. Set the switch to whatever state you want the power on default to be. Select CF3F on the front panel, press and hold right button for 6 seconds. This stores current settings as power on default
