This Atlona HDMI to VGA/Component + Stereo Audio Format Converter is a perfect solution to convert HDMI source to provide output to VGA and component video so that your data can be displayed on a PC monitor, projector, or TV with the resolution of 1080p. Selection between VGA or component video is easy and you can use this converter with multiple range of PCs as it comes with high video bandwidth that supports superior signal transmission.

The device also allows you to connect your set of speakers, an audio video receiver , or any other output device with the help of its de-embedding of audio signals from HDMI source that ultimately provide a separate 1/8" stereo interface to audio output. Plus, the unit also supports down conversion from a device source to either VGA /component output. Note that this device is not HDCP compliant. Converter Features:
  • Supports HDMI input and VGA or component output.
  • Allows user to select between VGA or component video output interface.
  • Supports VGA VESA resolutions up to 1920x1200 or component video up to 1080p.

Note 1: The AT-HD420 is a format converter only; therefore user would have to choose the resolution on the HDMI/DVI source which he/she would want to see on the output. The converter will not scale the signal and therefore it is very important to select the proper resolution on the originating source

Note 2; If an HDMI source includes HDCP(High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), the AT-HD420 output does not support HDCP decryption, therefore no image will display.

Its high bandwidth capability supports a wide range of PC monitor and HDTV resolutions up to 1920 X 1200 or 1080p. The converter is also capable of de-embedding audio from the HDMI source and converting it to a stereo 1/8-inch interface. This will allow the user to connect it to a set of speakers, an AVR or any other audio device.

Q: Is the AT-HD420 HDCP compliant?
A: No, if an HDMI source includes HDCP(High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), the AT-HD420 output does not support HDCP decryption, therefore no image will display. If your source is a Blu-ray player as most purchased media is HDCP (copyright protected by the studio) protected which is not supported by the AT-HD420.


3 Year Limited Warranty: HDTV Supply includes a 3 year warranty on all Atlona products which warrants that (a) its products (the “Product”) will perform substantially in accordance with the accompanying written materials for a period of 3 years from the date of receipt and (b) that the Product will be free from defects in materials & workmanship under normal use & service for a period of 3 years.

Atlona 3 Year Warranty Terms and Conditions: In order to get a warranty replacement for a defective item, HDTV Supplys and Atlona Support Teams must verify the product is eligible for warranty. A warranty number will then be issued to the customer along with the Warranty Form. Both the Warranty Number and the Warranty Form must be completely filled out printed and shipped along with the product. Shipped replacements for will be in like new conditions, tested and all components included.
