Optionally, use the IR extender capability and control your source devices from the viewing location. The Unique Backward-IR Channel allows you to control devices at the viewing location from the source equipment location. The remote extender function utilizes the optional kit listed above, which includes a target, an HDMI target insertion adapter, and a flood emitter that should be placed across from the source components to be controlled. The target plugs into adapter at the end of the HDMI cable that connects it to the display (ensure the adapter is set to IR) and inserts IR over the HDMI cable back to the matrix.
