This 3X1 autosensing HDMI switch can also be used to switch DVI using the above DVI to HDMI cables or the above DVI to HDMI adapters. DVI does not transmit audio so you must wire it separately.

The 3X1 autosensing HDMI switch switches to the active HDMI signal simultaneously when a new source becomes active. The HDMI switch will automatically detect when you turn on a connected device and will activate that particular input.

NOTE: A few devices like some DirecTV, Dish Network, cable and TiVo DVR satellite receivers are "always ON" so auto-sensing switchers, like this one, need the "always On devices, to be at a higher video input so it doesn't block other switcher devices. If you have more than one device that is always ON it won't switch.
