High Definition Digital Video Recorder

can record video input from various input sources (HDMI, YPbPr, YCbCr and CVBS) in either digital or analog, storing it directly to a USB HDD (not supplied) or a USB Pen Drive (not supplied). It uses H.264 TS format, which guarantees very efficient compression and timely delivery. Both digital and analog input/output audio are supported through HDMI or RCA interfaces. Recorded video can be played back on any media player or PC/NB that supports H.264 file formats.

Create Your Own Video Library, Record Live or Pre-Scheduled TV Programs, Backup the TV Programs in a Set-Top Box DVR, or use for Surveillance Recording. The maximum file size is limited to about 3.5 GB, video recordings that extend past that file limit will be broken up into consecutive 3.5 GB files.

With the Timer Programming you can setup a recording schedule to automatically record video to the USB device at preset times. You can easily edit, add and remove multiple recording sessions.

Note: This device will not allow an HDCP-encrypted HDMI source to record like a DVD player. Use the other inputs like the high definition component inputs then to record. If the HDMI video is not-HDCP it will record. Check your HDMI device users manual for whether it is HDCP copy protected or not.

The file recorded by AnyHD recorder can be played in a PC through the following software players: (Minimum Hardware requirements: Intel Core-2 Duo CPU with 2GB DRAM).

Only PowerDVD & WinDVD are able to play smoothly. Other software players might happen to break A/V sync off when it is playing recorded contact.
